Our highly trained coaches serve as transition partners to our clients.
As transition partners, coaches utilize the tools, frameworks, and methodologies to provide best-in-class coaching services to strengthen skills, broaden perspectives, and enhance preparedness, in order for veterans, spouses, and caregivers to gain traction during the transition process and beyond.
As a coach you will:
Be matched with a client based on a client’s background, interest, and experience.
Be required to establish 1-on-1 coaching sessions with your client throughout the coaching engagement (15-18 weeks).
Be provided access to VCP’s digital coaching platform (Korn Ferry Advance) and assessment tools (AgileBrain).
Assist and support all client deliverables (i.e. Purpose Statement, Value Proposition, 5-Minute Presentation, etc.).
Participate in coaching development programming.
Provide feedback and share insights to support continuous improvement of our program.

The VCP Coaching Forum™ provides a peer space for coaches to exchange ideas, share techniques, and refine their personal coaching style. It fosters adaptability, creativity, and continuous development in coaching practice.

Coaching Supervision is a collaborative space where coaches reflect, grow, and gain support—either with a supervisor or in peer groups. It helps improve practice, build capacity, and deepen understanding of both self and clients through shared learning and reflection.

VCP ‘Hip Pocket’ Workshops™ are short, rotating sessions that build understanding of military culture, share key insights on military topics, and raise awareness of the veteran transition experience.
Coaching Development
The VCP Coaching Stratagem™ helps coaches recognize key factors influencing sessions and adapt in real time. It combines evidence-based methods with a focus on forward movement and achieving realistic goals.
